EXHIBIT BOOTH SPECIFICATIONS & REGULATIONS

 

All booths 400 square feet (37.16 sqm) or larger MUST submit an original booth diagram to Show Management. The diagram can be no smaller than 11 in. x 17 in. (297mm x 420mm) and must have an architectural stamp. Hanging signs are permissible ONLY for Island Booths and Peninsula Booths. All hanging sign plans/diagrams must be submitted to Show Management.

 

LINEAR BOOTH

 

   

Definition: Only one side exposed to an aisle and are generally arranged in a series along a straight line. Also referred to as "in-line" booths.

 

Use of Space: The maximum height of eight feet (8’) is allowed only in the rear half of the booth space, with a four foot (4’) height restriction imposed on all materials in the front half of booth.

 

Note: When three or more Linear Booths are used in combination as a single exhibit space, the four foot (4’) height limitation is applied only to the portion of an exhibit which is within ten feet (10’) of an adjoining booth.

 

Note: A Corner Booth is a Linear Booth exposed to aisles on two sides. All guidelines for Linear Booth apply.

 

  

PERIMETER BOOTH  

 

Definition: A Linear Booth that backs to a wall of the exhibit facility rather than another exhibit.

 

Use of Space: All guidelines for Linear Booths apply except that the maximum backwall height is twelve feet (12’).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   PENINSULA BOOTH – ABUTTING AN OTHER PENINSULA:

 

                          

Definition: An exhibit made up of 400 square feet or larger exposed to aisles on three sides.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Use of Space:
- The backwall is restricted to four feet (4’) high within five feet (5’) of each aisle, permitting adequate line of sight for the adjoining Linear Booths.
- Eight feet (8’) is the maximum height allowance, including signage, for the center portion of the backwall.
- Sixteen feet (16’) is the maximum height allowance for the front 50% of booth. Any portion of exhibit backwall bordering another booth MUST BE FINISHED and NO SIGNAGE may be displayed on portion of backwall facing adjacent booth.

Note: No Hanging Signs are permitted for Penninsula Booths.

   

ISLAND BOOTH: 

  

Definition: An exhibit made up of 400 square feet or larger exposed to aisles on all four sides.

 

Use of Space: The entire cubic content of this booth may be used, up to the maximum allowable height of twenty feet (20'). The ceiling height at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center is thirty-three feet (33’).

 

 

 

 

   

§  Hanging Signs & Graphics:

   PERMITTED FOR ISLAND BOOTHS ONLY. Signs/graphics must be hung over booth and must not overlap the booth’s perimeter. The top of Hanging signs and graphics will be permitted to a maximum height of 25 feet (7.62m) from the floor.

 

Width of sign shall NOT EXCEED 60% of the booth shortest lineal measurement.

 

(Note: Architectural plans MUST BE submitted for island booths ≥ 400 sq.ft.)
